| Why PRINTS or PRINTED SCANS? At the risk of sounding like a camera ad, we have chosen to go this way because we want the spontaneous nature of non-professional photos. 99% of the world's surfers probably can't even swim out at second reef Pipeline, much less photograph it. The guys who do that stuff are very skilled. Yet the bulk of surfing is done elsewhere, frequently in bad weather, junky surf, or on the spur of the moment. Or by people who will never make the People Magazine list of the fashionably svelte... vagabondsurf.com is giving real people a chance to contribute to the surf culture as it really lives and breathes. |
