VINTAGE PAIPO
ADS
The lineage goes something like this: short wood boards ridden prone along with long wood boards ridden standing up; air mats; Hawaiian Paipo boards usually made from plywood; shorter and lighter wooden and then foam boards; air mats; foam and fiberglass bellyboards; kneeboards; the Morey Boogie.

What you see here are some representative photos of advertisements from surf magazines of the 1960's and into about 1970...arguably the golden days of surfing, but perhaps more rightly a period which should be considered a Golden Era.
