| Compare the pictures here with the bodyboards of today, and think about this: these photos were taken in the early 1980's. So much for the 2002 Buyer's guide issue of BODYBOARDING. Prognostications about the future of bodyboarding equipment seem to pale in comparasion to the past. |
| Notice the strakes, the concaves, the edges...long before wakeboards had this sophistication or kiteboards had been invented. It's "hard" compared to contemporary bodyboard materials - which are virtually the same as two decades ago. |
