I don't know...looking at it in these two photos and I think this: Add a foot and a half of length and split the tail, and you have The Fish. Yet this is a good 1960's vehicle. It's 3'4" long...fast, wild, and exciting. Right now a few people are stripping the glass off broken longboards to reinvestigate similar feelings, and some are ordering the kneeboard blank from Clark Foam. Either way, given the dimensions of this original, a lot of foam would have to be shaved off - and that spells weakness and problems in the long term. Perhaps Clark Foam might put out a bellyboard blank, should interest warrant. Either that, or someday soon Surftech or the Chinese might start offering a couple of simple models. Would that even be a bad thing? |
