| Far from being stuck in the past, a select group of people are becoming interested in certain areas of surfing which have been sitting, mostly unused, for many years. These images by Roger Wayland are of a Newport Paipo Concave Vector, perhaps 35 years old, the immediate forerunner of the bodyboard. It belongs to the original owner, unidentified, who received it for Christmas (how many of us wished we had kept that first board?). |
