It's absolutely amazing what you can do when you work an amazing amount of hours each week. Oh, those golden days, watching Friday night slip away while waiting for the truck to come back, or stumbling in at 5:30 a.m. in an effort to have some time to accomplish something before the phone started ringing. Or both on the same day.
One tends to lose persepective, which is okay, but one should try to never lose the all-important sense of humor...even if the gallows casts a big shadow for months at a time.
