BODYBOARD PHOTO GALLERY EQUIPMENT |
Left to right: Original Morey Boogie kit board circa 1977; Morey Mach 7-7 circa 1980's; Morey "Wedge" model circa 2000. Each is a standard production board for its era. Notice the balance of changes and standard features. |
Same boards, bottom view:Tail shapes, rail lines, and the addition of bottom channels on the "Wedge" model (not visible in this photo) illustrate some of the visible evolution of bodyboards. |
Bodyboard outlines: The original Boogie was longer than the eventual production boards. Size was more like bellyboards of the period. Innovation then was in materials and the "vacum track rails", which allowed the board to function finless. The Mach 7-7 is hidden between the old and new. |
